There is in fact a good reason for the name Two Eyes. This location is comprised of two circular cenotes placed very near each other. On land they are enticing enough for some four wheeler tours to stop by this jungle hiding spot. These cenotes are located far off the highway giving it an even greater natural beauty and setting the perfect tranquil environment. Dos Ojos is known for its multiple shallow cavern dives giving divers plenty of bottom time to enjoy this fully decorated system. Cave divers can plan many different cave dives with their guides as there are more than one dive located in this massive cave system. The people at IMAX movies enjoyed this location to shoot footage for the newly released IMAX films on caves.

Location: 48 km south of Playa del Carmen on the Federal Highway then 4 km down dirt road at Ejido Jacinto Pat Entrance
Hours of operation: 10-5 / everyday of the week
Bathrooms: Yes near the cenotes and plenty of private wooded areas
Restaurant on site-There is a complete restaurant nearby on the highway. Cold drinks, honey and snacks are available at a little palapa near the cenotes provided by some local caretakers.

Gear tables: no but large parking area to spread out
Cavern Dives: 2 very different cavern dives both starting and ending at the same point. The Bat Cave side takes you on a circular tour of a partial open collapse with splendid decorations above and below the water while the longer constant light zone side of a different but nearby cenote guides you along a crack in the world before it cuts back deeper into the cavern zone and then returns back. Guided cavern tour standards.

Snorkeling: Easy entries, large snorkeling areas, stalagtites and stalagmites every, two different cenotes in the same area are just some of the reasons to come here. Easy snorkel location for everyone in the family, access to the cenotes are well built stairways and both cenotes have decks built with ladder entrances for your personal items and to just lay around when you ready for a picnic
